In the near future, Germany will hand over three more Iris-T air defense systems to Ukraine. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced this during the 5th German-Ukrainian Economic Forum.

 The head of the German government noted that Berlin has already handed over the modern Iris-T air defense system to Kyiv.

 "Three more such systems will be delivered in the near future," he said, adding that "together with our partners, we will support Ukraine as long as necessary."

 Scholz also emphasized that Germany is firmly on the side of Ukrainians and will support them from a political, financial, humanitarian and economic point of view.
