Lukashenko recognized the participation of Belarus in the war against Ukraine

The head of the ruling regime of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, admitted that his country is participating in the war against Ukraine.

Lukashenko said this during a meeting on military security, Belta reports.

"As for our participation in the "special military operation" in Ukraine, we participate there. We do not hide it. But we do not kill anyone. We do not send our military anywhere. We do not violate our obligations," he said.

At the same time, after these words, Lukashenko justified himself and said that his country's participation consists "in preventing the spread of this conflict to the territory of Belarus."

"Secondly, to prevent an attack on Belarus under the guise of a special military operation by Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. As I said, no one will shoot the Russians in the back from the territory of Belarus. This is our role," added the Belarusian dictator.

It should be noted that earlier, despite the invasion of Russia from the territory of Belarus on February 24, Lukashenko did not confirm his participation in the war against Ukraine.

At the same time, the head of the ruling regime of the Republic of Belarus repeatedly spoke about the alleged threat from Ukraine. He recently stated that units are allegedly being formed on the territory of Ukraine to overthrow the government in Belarus.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine declares that there is always a danger of an attack from Belarus, but Ukraine is ready to repel such an invasion.
