Agrarians in Ukraine harvested 17.5 million tons of grain of the new crop, said the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

"The harvest of 2022 continues. The harvesting of grain and leguminous crops was carried out on the area of 4.8 million hectares (41%) at a yield of 36.4 c/ha, 17.5 million tons of grain were threshed," the report said.

Agricultural producers of 11 regions of Ukraine fully completed threshing of peas, and agrarians of the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions by 99% completed the harvest of wheat. According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy in Odesa region threshed 2.5 million tons of grain, in Dnipropetrovsk region - 2 million tons. Agrarians in the Vinnitsa and Mykolaiv regions harvested 1.6 million tons of grain each, Kirovograd region - 1.4 million tons, Khmelnytsky and Cherkasy regions threshed more than 1 million tons of grain each.

In Ukraine:

3.5 million hectares of wheat were threshed, with a yield of 36.0 c/ha, 12.6 million tons were threshed;

barley threshed 1.3 million hectares with the yield of 33.8 cwt/ha, 4.4 million tons were threshed

101 thousand hectares were threshed for peas, with the yield of 22.4 cwt/ha 226 thousand tons were threshed.

The highest yield of grain and leguminous crops belongs to the farmers of Ivano-Frankovsk region - 61.2 centners per hectare, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

In addition, it is stated that the harvest of winter rape was carried out on the area of 929 thousand hectares, (79%) threshed 2.5 million tons of seeds at a yield of 26.8 c/ha.

Ukraine has improved harvest forecasts to 65-67 million tons.
