Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that a nuclear war must never be unleashed. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to him, Russia fully complies with its obligations under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and bilateral agreements with the United States on the reduction of nuclear weapons.

"We proceed from the premise that there can be no winners in a nuclear war and it should never be unleashed, and we stand for equal and indivisible security for all members of the world community," Putin added.
