Port of Nikolaev may be connected to the work of "grain corridors

The port of Mykolaiv may also resume work for the export of Ukrainian products. However, for now it is not connected to the "grain corridors" because of active shelling.

This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov in the air of the TV marathon.

He noted that now two ports - in Odesa and Chornomorsk - are ready to export grain. It is planned that within a week the port "Southern" will also resume its work.

"The first two ports of Odesa and Chernomorsk, are ready, and already this week we will both send ships and expect ships to call at these ports. By the end of the week, we hope that the port of Yuzhny will also be ready," Kubrakov explained

According to him, the port in Mykolaiv may also be connected to the "grain corridors". But the main condition remains the security situation.

"I hope that if this initiative works, then soon we will move on to consultations on the port of Mykolaiv. This port, given the fact that there is active fighting there, we did not include in the first phase, but we do not forget anything and we will work on this too," - added the Minister.
