Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has told the G7 leaders that he wants Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine to end by the end of the year before winter.

This was reported by two European diplomats, according to Reuters.

The head of state also asked to provide Ukraine with air defense systems, strengthen sanctions against Russia and security guarantees.

In addition, Zelensky asked for help in exporting grain from Ukraine and in rebuilding the country after the war.
