The Pentagon revealed the contents of the next package of military aid to Ukraine

The United States will provide Ukraine with an additional $450 million in military aid. This was announced by the coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby, according to Reuters.

 

According to Kirby, the next aid package will include weapons and equipment. In particular, Kiev will receive new multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) and tens of thousands of shells for artillery systems. In addition, the U.S. will supply 18 patrol boats to help Ukraine protect its coasts and waterways.

 

The White House estimates that the total amount of U.S. military aid to Ukraine since the beginning of President Joe Biden's term was about $6.8 billion.
