324 children have already died at the hands of Russian occupiers in Ukraine

Already 324 children have died as a result of Russian armed aggression in Ukraine, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

 

"As of the morning of June 22, 2022, more than 916 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 324 children were killed and more than 592 injured," the report said.

 

The most affected children, as indicated, were in the Donetsk region - 307, Kharkiv - 175, Kyiv - 116, Chernihiv - 68, Lugansk - 54, Kherson - 52, Mykolaiv - 48, Zaporozhzhia - 30, Sumy - 17.

 

These figures are not final, since work is under way to establish them in places of active combat operations, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

 

Thus, on June 21, an 8-year-old girl was fatally wounded by enemy fire in the village of Bezruki, Kharkiv district, Kharkiv region.

 

On June 21, five children aged 9 to 16 were wounded due to shelling near the Zolotaya Rybka pond in the town of Temporary Yar, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.

 

Due to the bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces, it is noted that 2,052 educational institutions were damaged. Of these, 210 were completely destroyed.
