The rematch between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usik and British Anthony Joshua is officially approved, the parties have agreed on the terms of the fight. It was announced by Matchroom Boxing on Twitter.

The bout will take place on August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. At stake are three champion belts (WBA, WBO and IBF) that Usik took from Joshua in September 2021. That time he won by unanimous decision of the judges.

The Ring magazine named the fight between Usik and Joshua the main event of 2021 in boxing.
