The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff described the situation on the fronts at the beginning of the 89th day of the opposition to the full-scale invasion by Russia. The enemy continues to launch missile and air strikes. At the same time, there is a decrease in the intensity of combat operations in Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhia directions.

The enemy is trying to gain a foothold in the achieved lines, shelling the positions of the Defense Forces. The occupants carried out air strikes on civilian infrastructure in the areas of Avdeevka, Novoselovka II, Novomikhailovka and Nikolskoye.

On the Volyn and Polesye directions, the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus are intensifying reconnaissance and deploying additional units in the border areas of the Gomel region. The threat of missile and aviation attacks from the territory of Belarus remains.

On the Seversky axis, the situation has not changed significantly.

With the forces of certain units of the Western Military District, the 11th Army Corps of the Baltic Fleet, the Eastern and Central Military Districts, the enemy is preparing to resume the offensive in the Slavyansk direction.

The invaders attempted an offensive near the village of Dovgenke. This offensive was repulsed by units of the Defense Forces, the enemy suffered losses and retreated.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy does not abandon attempts to break through the defenses of our troops and reach the administrative borders of Luhansk Region.

In the Liman direction the enemy did not conduct active combat operations. The occupants shelled the infrastructure in the areas of Liman, Ozernoye and Dubrava.

In the Severodonetsk direction, the enemy concentrated its efforts in the direction of Severodonetsk. Conducted assault actions near Toshkivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, with the support of artillery, the enemy conducted combat operations in the area of Oleksandropillya. As a result of the fire attack the enemy took losses and retreated. Conducted an offensive in the area of Lipovoye and Trypillya, had no success.

The enemy did not conduct active combat operations in the South Bug area. Concentrated efforts on holding the ground, reconnaissance and engineering works on positions. The enemy shelled the positions of the Defense Forces with barreled and rocket-propelled artillery.

No significant movements of personnel or equipment were recorded in the Bessarabian direction on the territory of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova.

In the past 24 hours in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions 11 enemy attacks were repelled, 6 tanks, 10 units of armored fighting vehicles and 6 units of enemy vehicles were destroyed. Anti-aircraft defense units in the aforementioned directions shot down one Orlan-10 UAV and an enemy Su-25 aircraft.

Aviation and anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force destroyed 4 enemy cruise missiles.
