In Ukraine - 29,724 cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours

Ukraine has already recorded 4.57 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of almost 30 thousand per day on February 14. Compared to the previous day, the increase was 75%. This is said by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

 

"During the day on February 14 in Ukraine 29,724 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease were recorded," the report says.

 

Of those who fell ill in the past 24 hours: children - 2,393, health workers - 884.

 

Also in the past 24 hours:

hospitalized - 1,889 people;

lethal cases - 305;

23 235 people recovered.

 

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

4,572,417 people fell ill - 4,572,417 people;

3,811,630 people recovered;

fatal cases - 103,255;

PCR tests performed - 19,113,493.

 

Over the past 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in the city of Kiev (4,584), Odessa (3,315), Dnepropetrovsk (2,446), Donetsk (1,458) and Poltava (1,375) regions.

 

The Ministry of Health also reports that 59,170 people in Ukraine were vaccinated against COVID-19 during the day on February 14. The first dose was given to 17,244 people, the second dose to 27,362 people, an additional dose to 457 people, and a booster dose to 14,107 people.

 

According to the Worldometers website, a total of 413,975,455 people worldwide have been infected with COVID-19, with 335,864,670 people cured. The number of deaths rose to 5,844,728.
