An extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada for the report from the Minister of Internal Affairs on the Trukhin case is demanded by the Sluha Naroda party.

"The faction of the political party "Servant of the People" began collecting signatures to call an extraordinary meeting of Parliament. It was initiated by David Arahamia to hear law enforcement officers on cases in which deputies from different political forces are involved. Including those for which criminal proceedings have been pending since 2012", - said the spokeswoman of the party Yulia Paliychuk. 

Servant of the People faction leader David Arahamia explained in a statement that he demands the investigation of several deputies.

"Recently, a lot of questions have accumulated to the law enforcement agencies on the cases of MPs Trukhin, Kuzminykh, Voronko, Dmitruk, Poroshenko, Medvedchuk and the long-standing investigations against Yurchenko and Dubnevich. No political force should cover up these people, they should be held responsible for their actions," Arahamia says in a statement.

Let us remind that Arahamia is referring also to the road traffic accident with the participation of deputy from SN Trukhin. Video of the traffic accident involving the deputy was published on the Youtube channel of the publication Ukrainska Pravda. It records that during the traffic police at the scene of the accident on August 23, 2021 deputy Trukhin refuses to admit that he was behind the wheel of the car and persuades the police officer to let him go.

"I'll find you later. I'll thank you," Trukhin says.

It should be noted that in the accident of August 23 the passengers of Audi-A8 with Trukhin, Ford Kuga among which was the head of the committee of referees of the Ukrainian Association of Football Luciano Lucchi and two child-passengers of the Daewoo were injured. All victims survived, there were no serious injuries, but three were hospitalized from the scene.

After the publication of the video with the interview of the inspector who conducted the inspection on the day of the accident, the specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office sent a report to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine to initiate a criminal case under Article 369 (offer of unlawful benefit) of the Criminal Code.

"Unfortunately, it is no longer only about participation in a traffic accident. It is quite obvious that there are many more issues to explore," - wrote the Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova in her facebook.

Recall, today it was reported that the NDP Alexander Trukhin was officially expelled from the party "Servant of the people".
