Ukraine has already recorded 3.5 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of almost 4.5 thousand in a day, December 5. This is less than the day before and is traditional for the weekend. Of those infected over the day: 429 were children and 52 health workers.
The number of those recovered is higher than the number of new cases. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day of December 5 in Ukraine recorded 4,478 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - reported in the Ministry of Health.
Also over the past 24 hours:
hospitalized - 1,660 people;
fatal cases - 239;
9,082 persons recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill - 3,501,955 people;
3,059,741 persons recovered;
88,519 deaths;
PCR tests were conducted - 16,089,778.
Over the past 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kiev city (704), Zhytomyr (296), Donetsk (290), Cherkasy (278) and Zaporizhzhya (221) regions.
