Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Participated in International Seminar on Information Exchange

The event took place today, November 16, in the online format, during the sixth meeting of the Information Exchange Group on Technical Assistance to Ukraine in the Field of Radiation and Physical Nuclear Safety of the G7 Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Mass Destruction Initiative Working Group. Among those present were representatives from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, the EU, NATO, and other international organizations.


The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine acted as a coorganizer of Information Exchange Initiative meeting for the first time. 


The Ukrainian delegation was represented by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Mary Hakobyan. She stressed that since 2014, our state has faced a number of new challenges and threats to national security, which have reached their peak due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and the hybrid war it is waging against Ukraine.


"In order to strengthen national security and defense, our country adopted a number of strategic documents in 2021, in particular: human development; military security; development of the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine; economic security; energy security; cyber security; foreign policy; integrated border management and other areas, which are actively being worked out," the deputy minister said.
